Juice in 3 Sentences

  • I drink orange juice with breakfast. (a daily habit)
  • She has apple juice after school. (after school)
  • The juice is cold and sweet. (describing it)

A Quick Tip About JUICE

“Juice” is uncountable — say some juice or a glass of juice, not “a juice” in formal writing. In cafés, you can say “a juice, please” — it means one serving.

Saying “a juice” in everyday English

I want a juice, please.
I want some juice, please.

Easy way to remember: juice is liquid — like water. Say juice, some juice, or a glass of juice. To name the fruit, put the fruit before: orange juice, apple juice.
