A Quick Tip About MILK

“Milk” is uncountable — say some milk or a glass of milk, not “a milk”. In coffee shops, you might hear “a milk” as short for “a milky coffee”, but it’s casual.

Saying “a milk”

I want a milk, please.
I want some milk, please.

Easy way to remember: milk is liquid — like water. Say milk, some milk, or a glass of milk.
